I have studied Chinese for 5 months.
The basic structure of chinese is like this
Subjuect+time+place+verb+period+object.
I think this is very similar to English grammar.
The basic structure of Japanese is like this
Subjuect+time+object+period+verb
this is not similar to English or Chinese.
